This week I started my new nanny gig. It's so interesting. I pick these kids up, drive them to an activity or home...and that's it. They don't really talk that much either. It's amazing. My brothers were not allowed to sit next to each other in the car, but these boys don't make a peep while we drive home. It's actually freaking me out a little bit. I do drive a lot...that kind of stinks. I never realized how tiring driving can be.
In other news, we were able to successfully get the window on our car fixed for free. The mechanic was not thrilled to be doing it (or speaking to us in English), but nevertheless we have a working window!
Tomorrow we are going to a friend's house for fondue! I'm very excited about that!
Yeah, this week has been boring, but I am trying to make more of an effort to blog. I'm trying to get my hands on a chicken with feet so Richie will get off my back. That event will be it's own posting with pictures...I leave you with that.

In your rear view mirror can you see the kid twirling a butterfly knife or picking his teeth with an ice pick? if not, you probably don't have to worry about anything....wait....are the windows tinted??
ReplyDeleteBy the way, when Jeannette says the mechanic was thrilled to be fixing our car, she really meant that he hated me and the fact that we didn't speak English and the fact that we weren't giving him any business (the repair was under warranty). Parlez Anglais Vous?
