We Made It!
I can't believe the moment has finally arrived....we live in France! I am currently sitting in my kitchen planning what to buy/clean/put away first. The apartment is pretty decent, naturally it needs to be inhabited to really feel like 'our place'. There have been a lot of concerns about the roof and the ceiling in my apartment looks great, so no leaks. Once I get over the jet-lag I'll take pictures and show everyone. The outside is not much to get excied about. It's an old barnhouse and it looks like one. The inside is nice and really just needs some candles to get rid of the smell of emptiness. There will be so much more to come, but for now we have to get food and supplies.

Very exciting after all the planning to finally be doing! Did the effort at learning french pay off? I ahve a friend who has lived a bunch of places around the world and she always has interesting stories to tell about grocery shopping. Unusual foods and trying to figure out packaging.
